tools?
I'd like to know if the sculpters out there prefer
pnuematic or hand tools? and do you prefer alabaster or
a harder stone like marble? do you like abstract or
realism? big or small? lots of detail or more basic
lines and curves? do you buy stones w/ good colors or
ones that are easier to work with.(if sometimes you have
to make a decision like that?)
i'v been a part of this group for about a month and
have'nt seeen much action.
i am curently obsessed with stone sculpting, all free
time is spent inhaling stone dust.
can we post pictures on this e-mail thing?if not i'd
like to be contacted if anyone out there will send me
some pictures of stones they have seen or sculpted.
p.s please tell us who your favorite sculptures
are(like who influences you or who you respect in the
stone sculpting world.
