Introducing ourselves
Hi
My name is David Wigglesworth and I went last summer
with my daughter Nancy (14 years) to Tout Quarry on a
stone carving course. Although neither of us can
consider ourselves proficient stone carvers in any shape
or form, our experience there will be a lasting one and
the results of our efforts can now be admired in our
garden in Sussex.
Mine a rendition of the West Wind (on the first day of
our course it blew a howler from that direction and
provided the inspiration) and Nancy's a
multi-dimensional mermaid, a personal view of herself
:))
We council anybody who has not been to Tout to go there.
It is a magical place and a place one comes back from
the richer for the experience.
