Subject:
left wrist pain
carpal tunnel syndrome is caused by the tightening of
the carpal tunnel in the wrist through which nerves to
the hand and fingers pass. The symptoms are usually
pain, numbness, tingling in the thumb, index and middle
fingers of the effected hand. It is usually associated
with, as you say, repetitive tasks of the fingers such
as typing and playing the piano. Just because you use
your hands for heavy work in no way means that you will
get CTS. After heavy hammering or using machinery I have
noticed numbness in my hands and fingers but I don't
have CTS.
BTW. I am still looking for stone suppliers in the UK.
Anyone got any suggestions?
Richard
