As far as I am aware there is a great interest in UK
both among local authorities developing a cluster of
plans for public sculptures in city centres and in the
countryside. I have students working on this at
postgraduate level, and while the commissions may not be
large in number they exist. There is also a market
among individuals buyers and collectors, in sculpture
parks, through independent galleries. With the huge
explosion of 'garden ornaments' in UK surely there's a
niche for real sculpture that people will buy - I know I
would.
