Quoted text begins.I think one needs to find out what works best for oneself. Ideally one will
feel at home in both worlds.
End of quote.
I know that there are two ways of sculpting, I agree
with you, but I think that it's easier to begin with
clay or plasticine because modelling doesn't require any
tool, it's immediate. Even if I love stone, because they
are(as Aristotele wrote in "De anima": mineral is, plant
lives, animal feels and man means).
Quoted text begins. What approach do you use to sell your works? I'd be very interested in your
experience on this
End of quote.
I showed my works in country exibitions that I organized
with a ceramist, near the little town where I live, at
about twenty km. from M.Viso, (about sixty km.from
Torino): we tried to bring the local comunity near to
artistic works. But I sold nothing. It seem to me that in
Italy there is a deep between people who buy useful
things or services and people who make cultural objects,
not essential for everydays life: I'd like make people
understand how much art is important for the not
material wellbeing.
To Daniel: I'd like to know how recognize them, because
all three are green (perhaps sometimes black
too). Thanks.
