Hello everyone

I am also new to this listing, although I have been
reading some of the mail for a wile and found it very
interesting and informative. I live in the north of
Ireland about 20 miles south of Belfast, I have been
working as a full time sculptor for about 7 years on
small private commissions and public commissions here in
Ireland and Europe.

The stone I would work with would be mostly granite from
the south of county Down in the Mourne Mountain area,
the ever lasting mountains. this area is made up of
granite even the walls that divide the fields, which are
constructed with the most fantastic rounded boulders,
the largest at the bottom of the wall working there way
up to smaller boulders on top, these walls are truly a
work of art.

There is a lot of commissions here in Ireland if you
want to check out some of the commissions try The
