Feelings
Arthur ... your feelings are certainly shared among those who put the time,
physical effort, and emotion into their work that you do. Among others whose
work/play does not approach the kind of total involvement, both mental and
physical, you enjoy there are only a special few who have the capacity to
experience the work as you would like.
Many will find it appealing without knowing or asking why. This is
appreciation, too. Some will learn to see deeper by looking at your
work ... some won't.
If sculpture were created of words, we all would save a lot of wear and tear
on our bodies. You pose the questions; answers are personal and come to
individual viewers...and as you listen to those answers, more likely than
not, you will find a question to start your next piece.
Oh yes ... treasure that individual whose appreciation matches yours. They
will sustain you and keep you working in the right direction.
