Feelings
Arthur,
I don't think I will ever become completely indifferent to what the casual
obsever thinks about my art, but I have had to develop a much thicker skin.
The more you show your work ,the more you open yourself to insensitive or
mean comments. That just the way it is. For the 1000 people who just walk
by, there will be 10 who will be overwhelmed by your work. When you meet an
interested person, make the most of it, and share your thoughts and feeling
with them. As for the uncaring, just remember, You can't please everbody, so
please yourself first.
Stay positive,
George Graham
