Inca masonry work
Greg,
just a couple of years ago, the public broadcasting system aired a series
of showes on Nova. It was a 4 part series on solving ancient mysteries.
There was an hour of Egyptian obolisk raising, pyramid building, .The
mysteries of the Inca stone work was explored. The shows are very well done
and fasinating. Different "experts" advanced their theorys, and then
actually tried to put their theory to practice.
The program of the Inca's answered a lot in my mind, but raises others. That
to be expected when dealing with the distant past.
I think the ancient people did their great works by being highly organized,
perfectionists, and having no concept of working by the hour and having a
deadline.
Nova makes and sells their vidios to the puplic. I found the shows to
excellent. Check them out.

Is anyone working on learning how to fit stones together as tightly
as the Inca apparently did? Does anyone do that kind of work today?
