Subject: dust disposal

Quoted text begins. The original question was NOT about breathing dust, an issue which has been
discussed here extensively. The question was about environmental concerns
of dust disposal. In other words, once you're done carving for the day, and
you collect the dust from your dust collection equipment or sweep it up off
the floor, what do you do with the buckets of dust and chips.

Yes. My original question was about dust disposal, not protection from dust.
Granted, the two issues could overlap -- What if I poured stone dust on my flower
bed then my dog ran through it, stirring it up and causing everyone to breath
it? Just a thought. Obviously, I would never put stone dust somewhere where
something like that was likely to happen.

But while we are on the subject, what types of respirator offer the best
protection? I've been using those cheap dust masks, but I am planning on buying
a good respirator.
