Success drilling alabaster
Hi Group,
Just a quick update to let you know that I tried using my wood drill bits on
the alabaster (as Susan and someone else suggested), and it worked
beautifully! The alabaster drilled like butter with no problems at all.
Obviously a masonry bit is not the tool to use, on this kind of alabaster
anyway. Didn't get a chance to play with it this weekend, (turn it on the
lathe), but will soon. I'll let you know what happens next.
Thanks again for your suggestions.
Pat L.
