Question on drilling alabaster
Drilling through thin rock is hard. I've not worked with alabaster,
I understand it's not a very hard stone.
I would not use a impact drill or hammer drill. Have you tried useing non-masonry
bits, or glass drill bits or a diamond bur (use for engraving?)
I don't know how any of these would work for this job, but all I can say
is experiment my friend.
regards
Brett
