Subject: Introducing myself

Hi thanks for taking the time to visit. Yes the welded steel is mine and
the clay hopefully will be bronze at some date. I have located a foundry on
the west coast which looks like a good place to work with but as you know
the process is an expensive one so that project is on the back burner along
with the other clay maquettes I will be posting in the near future. I work
in stone / metal/ acrylic/ mixed media and prints (etching, engraving,
mono-print and colograph) The last posting of new work was work I completed
between January and April or so - My stone and other work can also be seen
on my web at [URL now obsolete]lilah just click the pics to find more of
each type of work. I maintain an extensive online portfolio. Stone was my
first media (started with it 40 years ago) and is my first love. I do only
direct carving and use drawings and dreams to work out the problems along
the way. My summer project is to complete an alabaster piece which I
started a few years ago. Hopefully by the end of the summer I will be able
to post a link to the completed piece. Have another section of new work to
go up in the meantime and in between time when I can find the time and space
to photograph and write the web pages. I find that the discipline to do
that part of the job sometimes eludes me for a while.

Visited your site and really enjoyed your work! My personal favorite is the
limestone torso from 1996. Beautiful!

to see this one :)
