Yes, I agree with you Walter, - and sometimes it's a lack of respect for the
'other' by objectifying them --- artists are patronized (in the perjorative
sense, as in your Chicago upscale neighborhood project) or treated as
entertainment ... the 'dancing bear' (forgive me the reference that started all
this) syndrome. It's an example of thoughtless behavior, and I don't think
there's a simple way to solve it, we just have to make sure not to do it to
others .....
