If you suscribe in the UK, you might be interested in this conference that
will be held in Cardiff at the national Museum of Wales. It's full title is:

Stone in Wales: Materials, Heritage and Conservation,

and it's a meeting that is being put together by representatives from The
National Museum of Wales, the Countryside Council for Wales, CADW (the
Welsh architectural and archaeological conservation body) and the British
Geological Survey.

This is the first time that a Building Stone Conference has been held in
the UK that is specifically aimed to get all those with an interest in
stone together in one place to meet each other and to exchange their
enthusiasms for different aspects of stone. If you're a stone producer, a
marketer of stone, an artist, an architect, a builder in new build or
restoration, a stone-craftsman, in the heritage industry, a planner, a site
conservationist, or even a geologist, then come along and meet others like
you.
