Judy...
I too am looking forward to your book! please let us
know when it's printed... I love this list -- my thanks
to learning stone...
I just bought a 4.5" angle grinder and a diamond blade --
my first foray into using power tools -- I've been
carving alabaster with a hammer and chisel for a few
years. I'm not sure how I feel about this. I was
really pleased that the initial roughing of the stone
was much faster .... however the power -- noise and dust
are stunning! My neighborhood was veiled in a cloud of
dust... I'll get used to it no doubt, but would love
to hear any caveats or tips anyone has for using the
tool other than just do it! I want to do a limestone
piece as soon as I find a good rock!
Isn't this a wonderful medium....
Susan
