beginner in stone
Hello George,
I got both of the e-mails. I really appreciate the help.
Since the stone is so far away, I may have to work on it by sides. The back
and sides look like they have had something on them, do you think that is
why the front of the stone looks so bad? Perhaps they put something on it
when they re-set it in the early 1980's. That would explain why I couldn't
see the writing until I used the sandpaper.
It will probably be a few weeks before I get down there again. I will let
you know how it is going. Thanks again. I will try and contact a few of the
places on the Web sites for more information.
Sincerely,
Sheila
