wax cleanup
I am starting to use sculpting wax for modeling. What
are some ways of cleaning up the wax residue? I don't
want to leave wax residue on things around me such as my
eyeglasses, photos, tools, workbench, or even stone or
whatever. Most other material washes off nicely with
soap/detergent, but not wax.
Warming it and then wiping off the liquid works to some
extent (or cooling and scaping). Miller in his book
ref'd below mentions benzine as a solvent. In the
otherwise great wax FAQ noted below cleanup is not
addressed.
I'd like to have a more comprehensive method.
Thanks in advance for any ideas,
Bill
