Removing tool marks - Hydrochloric Acid
Use of acids
Kudos to Pete for clarifying some issues and facts regarding the use of
acids ........ Hydroflourine based acids are to be avoided unless you know
what safety precautions are required with such an agressive compound. The
material has been known to attack the calcium in the bones if not used
safely. Stick with hydrochlorine based acids or even sulfamic or other
acetic acids, unless you're fully suited with the proper respirator
cartridges.
