Removing tool marks - Hydrochloric Acid
Dear Philip,
I did have a point that was to soft when new, was retempered and served its
purpose well. I watched , listened , and saw that with the right equipment
and knowledge, damaged chisels can be salvaged. This area of metal work
really facinates me, but I'm so busy working in stone that I avoid getting
side-tracked. I mainly try to keep from burning my chisels. I'll contact you
if some tools need some work by an expert.
Thanks ,
George Graham
