Consistency in Makita Diamond Blades
John,
Something's fishy about your description of the diamond
saw blade. If you buy a marble saw blade from Pearl or
Alpha, say, two top-notch brands, it will cut anything
in its way (short of a big patch of quartz or
something). And do it dry to boot. A tile saw that must
be used wet is much too restrictive for hand carving.
Normally I see people only going to water when the saw
blade is over 7 inches and the speed must come down or
they are controlling dust. Am I missing something?
