Thanks for your wonderful response and exigesis regarding your work. I have
a much clearer idea of your work ethic and it doesn't have a shred of
knee-jerk sentimental ideology anywhere - I restore historic masonry
structures to support my stone jones and I frequently have to interact with
conservators who are all too eponymously oriented. Your eloquent
description of work habits and past projects gave a delightful window into
an aspect of stone that I hadn't previously allowed for.
