glueing limestone
don't glue the bits. if you need to make your work out
of bits rather than in one piece, use mechanical fixing
methods. you have not said why you want to make things
out of bits rather than from the whole but there several
possible reasons. if you wanted to do it because you
wanted to fragment the work, you can leave a small gap
between the stones or misalign the pieces, which would
let the viewer know that it is an essential part of the
work rather than a solution to a manufacturing or
transporting problem. this has been done many times
before.
