sand blasting
Hi Ron,
I'll try to add some information on sandblasting for anyone interested.
If you are blasting stone, then get some sandblasting stencil, (rubber
stencil) from a monument shop or call Granite City Tool company in Barre VT.
1 800 451 4570. There are others that cater to monument manufactures, but
that is the one I've delt with for years.
You will need a "filler" to paint on the stone first to keep the rubber from
coming loose when blasting. The adhesive backed stencil works well on
polished stone, but won't hold on regular surfaces. Tell the people what you
want to do, and they will know what you need.
Remember, always wear a dust mask when sandblasting!!
Good luck
George Graham
