Fw: Angle Grinder Speeds
Hi Linda,
The recommended speed for using a diamond wheel depends on the size of =
the blade that you are using:-
This is usually the maximum safe rpm of a diamond blade which we inform =
our client : so make sure that the tool you use is within them
=D8230mm/9" 6600
=D8180mm/7" 8000
=D8150mm/5 1/2" 10000
=D8125mm/5" 12000
=D8115mm/4 1/2" 15000
You should not go above the rpm as you will burn the blades and if it =
is too slow then it is just not working as fast as it should be. General =
guideline is to use them a little below them and it will works out fine.
If you are working with marble, it is recommended to cut with the =
electroplated blades because it is build for cutting in marble. It is =
more efficient and cost effective in the long run. If you are working =
with granite:- you should use a granite blade. It is very important to =
choose the right blade for the stone type as the stone composition is =
different. So is the blades: different diamond blades have different =
bounding so it can work more efficiently on different stone type.
