mallet/hammer query
Thanks for this Don. Just to clarify (as a total beginner it's taking
me some time to get my head round all this) - what I've been
recommended is to use the lump hammer or dummy mallet with mallet head
chisels and mallet head point claws. The likelihood is that, at least
initially, I'd be working on a relatively soft stone like portland.
From what you've said, I think this may not be a combination you'd
recommend. It also sounds like I could use a nylon mallet with
portland. Could you just confirm (or otherwise) that I've got this
right, or have I misinterpreted what you've written?
Thanks again - your help is very much appreciated
Ann
