hammers and mallets
Dear George,
I think the hammer your refering to is a Fisher Hammer produced by a company
of that name in Manchester which alas, I don't think exists any more. I got
mine off an old mason who was retiring. Essentially, it is a standard
masons hammer which tapers towards the hitting faces with a slightly curved
top. It is brilliantly weighted and very comfortable to use for long
periods.
Best of luck on your quest
Pete Martin
