Introducing Myself
Hello. My name is Pat, I live in western Kansas, USA.
My husband and I have purchased land that has an old
limestone rock house on it (two story dated 1901). Part
of the house has fallen down (one of the 4 walls) so
it's not feasable to renovate it. But we do plan to
build a new home there and would like to use the
limestone rocks from this old house as well as 3 other
limestone rock buildings in the area. The questions we
have are, 1)will the rock be usable and 2)how can we
tell if it will stand up to time or errode away like
some of the native limestone seems to do? 3)Is there
anyone in the western Kansas area that could look at it
and tell us if it's usable?
Thanks for any help anyone can give us.
Pat
