stone/sculpture lifting equipment
It seems like you could erect two tripods with a gantry between them?
The gantry beam would have to be level, but you would get your
movemement of stone.
I have a friend who put large all terrain pneumatic tires on an engine
hoist, but I don't think that would work for 1,500 kilos. Maybe 1,000
kilos.
Very used crane trucks are pretty cheap in the states, but you have to
deal with maintenance and licensing. Here you can hire a crane truck
with operator for $100/hr US, and they can usually make very quick work
of it.
