stone/sculpture lifting equipment
Hi Clive,
Funny how things come together, I'm at the stage where it looks to be a real
possibility that I will get myself a real studio / workshop. So am looking
to solve similar problems, 'cos I have a burning desire to work BIG.
One possible solution I've been toying with is a 2 ton folding engine crane.
In my neck of the woods they can be got from :-
http://www.screwfix.com navigate to BIG STUFF, then automotive.
They run out at £189.99.
It's NOT the perfect solution of course, but it may be going in the right
direction, all kinds of logistical details to work out.
I'm gonna be watching this conversation with interest.
I would say though that I wouldn't be happy about trying to do this on my
own, you've only two arms, two legs and ONE pair of eyes. NOT enough when
one is trying to place a large heavy object accurately!!!
Regards
Tony
