pneumatic carving hammer
Hi John,
Thank you for your assistance. Part of my frustration
is that I am in No. Maine. I know of no one in the area
that uses power tools, (or works in stone). The Univ.
does not have power equip. either - very low budget.
I've seen catalogues, but with all the equip shown, I
have a hard time figuring out what I actually need. I
know a compressor - any particular size? I don't want to
undersize. Does the hose just attach to that? Is the
hammer separate? What are good sizes of chisels to
begin with? I have some scrap stone that I could
experiment with - to get a feel of the equipment.
I work in alabaster & marble - would I be able to
utilize the same equip. for both? Somehow I envision it
would be too powerful for alabaster - correct? I am a
real novice and am contemplating finding some workshop
to go to to learn more, any suggestions?
Thanks again,
Sandra
