Subject:
getting bullnose edge on marble slab
When developing a smooth rounded surface, especially on
marbles, soapstone, limestone travertine and serpentine,
I have found that there is a "sweet point" where
finishing by hand with silicon carbide wet dry paper or
a silicon carbide segment is the best way to take out
the tool marks. Perhaps on your marble that point is
between 50 and 80 grit. A little elbow grease at the
right stage
goes a long way.
