drilling into soapstone
Jay, a hole saw will work on soapstone and alabaster. You can get them at the
hardware store. Be sure to pull the hole saw up to clear out the dust, this
will help it cut and not bind. If you are trying to achieve something like a
cup. You might want to use a hole saw that is the final size or largest size
first, then cut a smaller hole with another bit. Paddle bits also work on
