drilling into soapstone
Jay just thought of this, never tried it but it seems like it should work. A
self feeding forstner bit. The kind plumbers use with right angle drills to
drill holes in studs for pipes. They are rather heavy duty and seems like
they should be able to be re sharpened. JR
