soapstone and alabaster sealing
Hi Gary,
Unfortunately, there aren't any products that can change
the hardness of your stone, which is what you really
need. Most of us have come to the conclusion that
soapstone and alabaster are best for "look but don't
touch" sculptures. I would advise moving to some harder
stone, limestone, marble, granite, basalt, jade, or
serpentine for example. They take a little more effort
to carve, but make up for it in durability. Just a
