There are chain saws for limestone, you can do a deep plunge, cut square
holes by plunging in the four sided. I don't have a link handy, but a
google search under masonry chain saws should find them. Never tried them,
don't know how much kick they have, and you don't want any oil or grease to
get on the stone.
