wonderstone carving
Greetings, I've been eyeing a variety of stones for carving on the Neolithic
web site and wondered if anyone had experience with carving wonderstone,
kumori anhydrite, or black chlorite. I have worked mostly with alabaster
and Virginia steatite and wondered if these stones have similar
characteristics as reported by the vendor. Specifically, can the same types
of tools be used (i.e. rasps, rifflers, etc. for soft stone) and do the
stones polish nicely (especially wonderstone). Anyone have experience with
the various wonderstone colors (green, red or yellow)? TIA. gary
