Hi!
Danny, your first piece is really wonderful. I'm impressed at your tool
resourcefullness too. The shape is awfully compelling, isn't it. For some
reason I am vaguely reminded of Henry Moore's Helmet Heads....though different
shapes of course and yours is not menacing to me.
And thanks so much for the website of links to the prehistoric monuments...some
of those shapes are very compelling also. Many of the simple ancient forms hold
such power.
This is a wonderful way to spend one's life...carving for the love of it.
