Bill and Bill,
Thanks for your thoughts on wet grinding. The
tool I particularly had in mind is a 14"
Partner electric cutoff saw. Partner "does not
recommend" the use of water, as they say the
saw, being forward or pulling cutting, throws
water on the saw, and water can also enter
through arbor, gears etc. However, they also
said some people get around the problem ok by
using only a careful mist (primarily to keep
dust down, not lube the blade) instead of a
larger stream of water. Any ideas on where to
get "misting" nozzles?
"enough of a shock to throw you across the
room but not to kill you . . ." Great fun; and
this, with a GCFI?
