AW: superglue
Dear Don, Clive, and John (vanCamp)
thank you all for your advice and comments. It was enjoyable reading, too,
Don.
My problem is indeed a simple one once you know the solution. Don correctly
observed it involves securing a cracked spot rather than stabilizing a
structure. I believe the SuperGlue mentioned by you is what goes here by the
name of "Sekundenkleber", a very poweful glue that cures within seconds and
is dangerous on your fingers, because you'd have to cut the skin in order to
separate them again...
Akemi is of course a familiar name, I could have thought of it myself.
And Don, I am impressed by your web site, your works, and the advice you
offer there.
My operation is minuscule by comparison, and yet it is my full inner life.
One last remark:
Quoted text begins.(and I DO try to avoid building over canyon walls . . . )
End of quote.
Had no one ever built over a canyon, we'd be still sitting on trees and
munch bananas. Now I am not saying were a great deal better off the way we
are, but that's what you get if you do things like looking down a canyon
wall and wonder how to get from here to there.
Buon lavoro, as an Italian carver friend of mine would say.
Cheers,
Andrei
