AW: superglue
Dear d h webber:
Thanks for the specific info on Super Glue - it was very helpful and
brought up some points I was not aware of -- your notes will go into my
files for reference.
I often wish I had studied a bit of chemistry when I was in school - but
I attended an ART school so there was not too much emphasis on the more
"practical" side of things.
I have seen and used books on the materials of art (painting primarily)
and thought that they are very helpful for the artist/layperson (painter)
in terms of predicting chemical interactions, safety, etc., and I have
always wished for a book that might better address the material issues a
sculptor might run into.
Do you or does anybody else in the list know of such a reference material
(in English)?
Good Carving to All,
Don
