anhydrite
Justin,
Riffler files that have very large "rasp" teeth are perfect for alabaster,
and other soft stone like anhydrite, but while they will cut marble ,rasps
are not as efficient as files with "bastard" teeth. Go to you local hardware
store and buy a round bastard file, 10 or 12 inches long, and use it on
marble. You will find it to one of the most useful tool in your toolbox.
I'm very curious about the blue marble you have. Where does it come from?
Who did you buy it from? Is it much harder then anhydrite?
Hope to hear from you soon.
