Right-sized air compressor
I have been a lurker for a while, and have much appreciated all the
information.
My interest in in shaping stone for building dry stack structures. I use
mostly "liberated" field stone, but have also purchased much sedimentary
stone.
I have built retaining walls and steps, and am pleased with my modest
progress, though I look forward to shaping stone for better fit and
interesting color and texture combinations.
I am feeling the need to do a faster job of shaping my stone and spending
less time "finding the right stone for THAT spot." I am leaning toward an
air compressor to drive pneumatic chisels. Any suggestions regarding size
and horsepower?
Comments will be most appreciated.
