hand carving memorials/resperators
Thank you George for the recommendation of the Granite City Advantage 200
mask. I've been using an AOSafety quater mask that works well with a face
shield. The exhaust ports are on the side so it avoids fogging the shield.
I'll contact Granite City and try one of these masks.
I'd like to follow up on your description of carving granite.
That is, what kind of granite you find will take detail and the approach you
take to the chisel.
I've found granite so hard that I reflexively default to bush hammers and
grinding.
Thanks again for the respirator recommendation.
