If I recall correctly Black Diamond was from Crucible Steel. In the mid
1980's they had stopped making it many years earlier, but that they still
had a few hundred bars (8' or 12' long) left in a warehouse, and I was told
later that Trow & Holden acquired the lot. So their blanks could be out of
Black Diamond.
