Wedges
Quoted text begins. Can anyone suggest a design for these wedges? What size, shape, taper =
etc. Any help would be appreciated.
End of quote.
yes ,i tried this
i have made some wedges out of a spring of golf court car.
i used them to cut small blocks of stone in to 2 pieces.
their wideth is the natural width of the spring(about 5 mm).& the length of
the part of the wedge that enters the stone, must not be longer then the
depth of your cut.
they work well if you cut the stone with your disc on both sides.
i used them to cut pieces of up to 30X30 cm.
just remember that you can not use this method close to the edges of the
stone.
anyway,i have made this set because i could not buy normal small sise
wedges in israel,& i do not recomend their use if you can ezely buy standard
normal wedges.
