router lettering.
I have never tried a router, but as a beginner trying out lettering, I do
have some advice. Go through the archives and read and absorb everything the
good folk here have been kind enough to help we worms with... tis good
advice and as they have made clear , there is NO shortcut to lettering....
Read and learn as much as you can, get you a pile of stone that you will not
mind hiding from the wife or whoever you usually show off for , and start
practicing.
My letters turn out so far much like my handwriting... legible, but not
anywhere near that copperplate script I yearn for.....Practice practice
practice.
When you see that beautiful swan gliding serenely across the lake, remember
that under the surface there is a whole lot of thrash'n and churn'n goin
on.
Thank you all once again for the examples and paragons that you share
here , your open hearts and encouragement is wonderful.
