Rainforest Marble
Hi,
A few years back I purchased a carving of a bear, and was told by the sales staff
at the gallery that it was carved from "Rainforest Marble" from the Kennedy Lake
region on British Columbia's Vancouver Island.
Has anyone had exposure to this stone? Does it have another name?
Do you know where it is available? and... how is it to carve?
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks! -Dallas
