Hello Everyone
Hello,
I have been reading the group for several months now. I figured it was
time to introduce myself. My name is Gene Morris. I am located in
Tucson, Arizona, USA. Stone carving has always interested me. But, I
have never really pushed to find out more about it. That is why I
subscribed to the group.
I think I want to try a few small projects in the next few months. I
don't have a whole lot of time to just sit and carve. I am a
stay-at-home father of a 7 month-old. She is a bit demanding at times.
Can anyone recommend a class, workshop, book or website with a good
basic understanding of stone carving? Is there anyone local that
wouldn't mind a couple prying eyes hanging around a little? I would
just love to watch the process.
Anyway, hello and I hope to continue gaining knowledge from the the
professionals here on the group. Take care.
Regards,
Gene Morris
