They're paving paradise...
Too late. The article was published on the 19th, and the bulldozers hit the
morning of the 23th. The contents were saved, but the buildings are gone.
Our hope had been that the cathedral would continue to be a place that kept
the traditions and training of carving alive; they could have offered
carving classes there. They also still have lots of empty niches to be
filled, blank stones to be carved, ...
I spent 5 years working inside that shop.
